Here are a few websites where you can gather/share information for use in your classroom:

FilesAnywhere.com -- This website has tools that are useful if you want to create an online dropbox; give access to documents to others; fax documents (free!); email documents--and more. Sign up for free.

Pollseverywhere.com -- students use their cell phones to respond to your questions. Ask opinions to begin discussions or debates; pose a multiple-choice question to check for understanding; and more!

ShowDocument.com -- a site where you can upload a document for students to share; they can work together to edit or find errors, complete a story, work math problems, etc.

Elluminate -- a program that is commonly used for webinars, it now offers FREE web conferencing for up to three participants. Have a student who is ill or injured and can't come to school? Need to conference with parents who can't come to the building? Try it!

Zoho -- at this website, there are a multitude of tools available (very much like Google). Here's a presentation I created in PowerPoint and uploaded to Zoho.
